PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Phoenix police have identified a man who was killed in a crash on Tuesday afternoon.
First responders were called to the collision involving a motorcycle and a sedan in the area of 22nd Street and Campbell Avenue , between Camelback and Indian School roads, around 5:20 p.m.
Phoenix Police said officers found a motorcyclist in critical condition before Phoenix Fire crews arrived and transported him to a nearby hospital. He died a short time later.
He’s since been identified as 21-year-old Camden Allen Riedy.
Detectives believe the sedan driver was westbound on Campbell Avenue and trying to turn right onto 22nd Street when Riedy made an “unsafe pass” by using the bike lane.
The woman remained on the scene, and police do not believe impairment was a factor. The in
