Stellantis NV said Wednesday it plans to build a more than $41 million Mopar parts distribution center in Georgia, part of a larger effort to remake much of its parts distribution system in the United States.
The 422,000-square-foot plant is coming to Forsyth, 60 miles south of Atlanta, and will be staffed by about 90 United Auto Workers-represented employees, the automaker said. It's meant to support faster parts delivery service to Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram dealers and other customers across the Southeast.
