After a quiet day today, a cold front dropping in from Canada will bring a chance for showers and a few rumbles of thunder beginning around 9pm up north, ending before daybreak tomorrow. Severe weather is not expected, but heavy rain and thunder and lightning will be the main impacts.

Besides the rain, some patchy fog might try to develop. Expect lows in the mid to upper 50s.

Clouds in the morning will give way to more amounts of sunshine in the afternoon. A breezy north wind will keep highs only in the upper 60s to around 70. If you are heading out on the water, just know it could get choppy, especially on the near shore waters of Lake Michigan. A Small Craft Advisory is in effect.
