About the Bulldogs: Batavia is coming off its second Class 7A state finals appearance in three seasons and is hoping that a Week 1 victory will jumpstart another return to championship weekend. The Bulldogs enter the season with the roles reversed from last year with a heavily experienced offense and ready to make an instant impact.
