Elbows up, money out?

A new survey shows that more than half of Canadians who own properties in the U.S. are thinking of selling within the next year. And nearly two-thirds of that group say political and economic tensions between the two countries in the Trump era are the main reason.

Many also said they plan to reinvest in Canadian real estate when and if they do bail on the United States.

In terms of actual sales, however, it may be that many pondering divestment are still in the “discovery process,” B.C. realtors say.
