TEMPLE, Texas — A boundary could bring some rain chances on Wednesday, but we're looking ahead to a cold front that could bring a sense of fall to Central Texas.

On Thursday, an upper-level area of high pressure drags out the region with a warm front pushing moisture to the northeast. That should bring a brief break from rain chances, but it will also mean that high temperatures will return to the upper 90s.

A touch of fall coming?

A cold front will finally make up its mind and bring in drier air by Labor Day. An early taste of fall will allow high temperatures to range from mid to upper 80s.
