The Maine Principals’ Association website is an important source of information for high school sports enthusiasts in the state that provides access to team schedules, scores and rankings.

But that familiar site for sports fans now has a different look, and is a work in progress after the MPA has turned to a new company to manage it.

The MPA administers interscholastic sports across Maine.

Mike Bisson, the assistant executive director of the MPA, said software company rSchoolToday used to produce the website but was bought out by another company that was phasing out some pieces of the previous rSchoolToday product. That meant the MPA needed to make a change.

“We decided to go in a different direction,” Bisson said.
