Park City community members recently gathered at a private residence for Jewish National Fund-USA’s “Israel for All,” where, according to the organization, they learned about its initiatives enabling disabled Israelis to serve in the Israel Defense Force.

Hosted by Rose Appel, Susan Hodder and Jill Weininger, the event’s keynote speaker was Lt. Col. (Res.) Tiran Attia, director of Special in Uniform. An initiative supported by Jewish National Fund-USA, Special in Uniform aims to help young Israelis with disabilities to serve in the Israel Defense Forces to the best of their abilities, which, the organization said, promotes inclusion and dignity through national service. The program also helps integrate the soldiers into the workforce after their service.
