KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Blount Partnership is reporting a 6% increase in tourism revenue from 2023 to 2024. Jeff Muir, the organizations communications director said this has been a step in the right direction and they’re hoping it continues to trend upwards.

They said their success in recent years has been advertising to wilderness lovers in the area.

“We’re trying to bring in visitors that like the outdoors and we really focus on the outdoor experience and try to make sure that those areas are covered as well,” Muir said.
