SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — The Spokane County Interstate Fair is coming up on September 5-14, and here's what you need to know about the safety measures for this year.

The fair regulates what people can bring onto fairgrounds, and the Spokane County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) told KREM 2 there will be deputies present during the fair. There is no security screen for entering the fair.

Safety Measures:

You cannot bring alcohol, knives, dogs or any pets. Service animals only.

Wheelchairs and scooters will not be available to rent this year. Make sure you bring your own, or use an off-site rental resource.

Accessible parking will be available near the entrances and the fair also has smooth walkways throughout the entire area.
