The City Council Wednesday called for an analysis of the MyLA311 system following reports of operational issues raised by residents and city employees.

In a unanimous vote, council members directed city departments to report on the system’s current performance, usability and efficiency, comparing its functionality before and after the most recent update.

The review will examine improvements in the latest version and gather feedback on problems such as GPS navigation errors, limits in accessing internal notes and instances where service requests were marked closed without being completed.

Council members Monica Rodriguez, John Lee, Marqueece Harris-Dawson and Eunisses Hernandez introduced a motion on Aug. 8 to improve the system.
