A 20-year-old South Bend woman was hospitalized early Wednesday morning after her vehicle flipped and struck a fence along Old U.S. 33. According to Elkhart authorities, Diana Salazar was driving eastbound in a 2010 Honda Civic around 4:34 a.m. when her car swerved off the north side of the road and overturned onto the property of Fiber Tron. Emergency responders helped Salazar from the vehicle, and she was transported to Elkhart General Hospital with injuries to her left arm.
