Billy Cunningham (1943)

Billy Cunningham carved out an incredible 11-year career as a pro. He was a standout at UNC during college, earning him the seventh overall pick in the 1965 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers. Cunningham finished second in Rookie of the Year voting in his debut season, and, after two more solid years, he became a superstar in 1968-69. Cunningham made his first of five straight All-Star appearances that year, finishing top ten in MVP voting three times.
