SHELBURNE FALLS, Mass. (WWLP) - Shelburne Falls in Franklin County is gearing up for a surge in tourism as the fall foliage season approaches.

The town, known for its picturesque Bridge of Flowers and glacial potholes, attracts visitors from all over who come to enjoy the vibrant autumn colors.

This seasonal influx, often referred to as 'leaf peeping,' significantly boosts local businesses.

"This is definitely a good spot to be able to check out the foliage, all of the different colors, all of the mountains around," said Careena Cormier, manager of Mocha Maya's Coffee House. "So it definitely picks up, definitely coming in soon."
