Police Wednesday sought the public’s help Wednesday in identifying a hit-and-run driver whose car struck a motorcyclist in Los Angeles, leaving the rider critically injured.

The collision occurred around 8:50 p.m. Aug. 14, when a dark-colored 1990s Honda sedan made a U-turn at Clybourn Avenue and Lull Street and collided with a southbound motorcycle on Clybourn, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The motorcyclist was ejected and suffered critical injuries, while the sedan continued northbound without stopping, police said.

The city is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the suspect’s identification, arrest and conviction.
