The affected areas include parts of St. Peter Street -- from Decatur Street to Bourbon Street. There is no set timeline for when water services will resume, but officials say the outage will start at 11 AM.

Crews are expected to monitor water pressure, they say if pressure falls, they will end the repairs.

You're asked to contact any water or sewer emergencies to 504-52-WATER.
