PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Oregon and Washington are among states that could lose federal education funding based on their sexual education curricula, the Trump administration announced.
On Tuesday, the Administration for Children and Families (a division of the Department of Health and Human Services) sent letters to dozens of states, demanding they no longer teach gender ideology in order to receive a Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP) grant.
Among recipients of the letter was Oregon Health Authority Chief Financial Officer Nadia Davidson.
