OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT) -- For many high school seniors it's college planning season and at Owensboro high they're doing it all in one day.

The school calls it the Tour De Owensboro. Groups of seniors visited Kentucky Wesleyan College, Brescia University and Western Kentucky University getting a firsthand look at campus life programs and scholarships.

The goal is to help students picture themselves as part of a college community close to home.

“It feels really nice because at least I know the gist of it. But getting to knock them out all in one day is super amazing but I know there's probably so much more to actually seeing them than in just these 30 minute sessions,” senior Camden Byrd said.

The seniors also met with college students to see how they've adapted to life after high school.
