Emergency crews are responding to a potential drowning at a southeast Calgary lake on Wednesday.

Calgary police tell CityNews crews were called to the lake in the community of Mahogany around 5:15 p.m. for reports of someone struggling in the water.

A police spokesperson says there were multiple reports of a man struggling in the lake who went underwater and was not seen again.

Crews could be seen searching for the main off a dock near the Mahogany Beach Club building.

CPS are on scene assisting the Calgary Fire Department (CFD), who currently have divers searching the lake for the man.
