A shooting near Parcel 5 and the Liberty Pole area Wednesday evening left two teenagers injured and prompted a large police response in the heart of downtown Rochester.

Rochester Police responded to the area of 1 East Avenue at approximately 8 p.m. for reports of gunfire. The scene quickly escalated, with more than a dozen police vehicles converging on the area and officers cordoning off a significant portion of Parcel 5 and the surrounding area.
