Pollastrini & Bollman Eye Care will soon have a new home—“just two doors down” from their current location at 1300 10th Ave. SW in Waverly, according to the notice posted in their waiting room. The entire staff had a ceremonial groundbreaking on the land at 1500 10th Ave. SW on Aug. 25.

“Over the past couple of years, Dr. Woeste and I have led the practice, and we are really outgrowing our space,” said Dr. Bridget Steere-Bollman. “We’re outgrowing our parking, and we needed to do something bigger, so we decided that we would partner to build a new building on this site.”

The new site was part of land that belonged to CUSB Bank on 10th Avenue SW.

“The bank has owned this lot,” Steere-Bollman explained. “It’s been a large lot, tied in with theirs. We requested they split it off and get it
