Mudslides along westbound Interstate 80 are slowing down traffic in parts of Nevada County on Wednesday.

The California Highway Patrol posted video of the mudslide's traffic impacts near Floriston Way. CHP is warning drivers in the area to drive slowly and watch for personnel as crews work to clear the scene.

This week's wet conditions in the Sierra have continued Wednesday with widespread thunderstorms in the area.

The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for parts of Nevada and Sierra counties from 2:37 p.m. through 4:30 p.m.
