Lake Country rallied for a 6-5 10-inning win over the Chicago Dogs on Wednesday, scoring the winning run on a dropped third strike.
With the loss, the Dogs fell three games out of first place in the East Division. Chicago put up three runs on solo homers from Jaylyn Williams, Jacob Teter and Dusty Stroup.
Lake Country got one back in the fourth, the only run they scored off Brady Miller. Miller threw five innings, allowing just the one run on four hits, one walk and two strikeouts. Lake Country pulled within 3-2 in the bottom of the sixth inning.
The Dogs added two runs in the seventh, but an error allowed Lake Country to tie the game in the bottom of the eighth inning. The DockHounds walked it off in the bottom o
