ELK POINT, S.D. (KCAU) — After spending four weeks mowing lawns for free, Elk Point-Jefferson's Kamrynn Thiry is being recognized for his hard work.

Kamryn started his free lawn mowing mission as part of a non-profit's "50-yard Challenge."

On Wednesday, at the Elk Point City Park and Campground, Kamrynn was gifted with a mower, weed whacker and and blower by Rodney Smith Jr., the founder of Raising Men & Women Lawn Care Service, the organization behind the challenge.
