STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) -- A 23-year-old man from New York was served with 67 warrants after allegedly making fraudulent purchases with a stolen credit card in Stafford County, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded to reports on Sunday, August 24, of fraud after a California victim stated that his credit card had been used 11 times at a Wawa on Garrisonville Road in Stafford County.

According to deputies, surveillance footage from the Wawa showed a man purchasing items at the store before leaving in a black Nissan. Deputies then searched the area for nearby Wawas after learning the suspect had made transactions at other locations.
