Emily Jean Underlin Anderson, our beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, graduated from this life on Aug. 22, 2025, after a valiant battle with translocation renal cell carcinoma (kidney cancer). Born on Sept. 21, 1989, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Peter and Kathleen Underlin, Emily’s radiant spirit and steadfast faith touched countless lives. She fought her fight, finished her course, and kept the faith, moving on to a higher and holier sphere.

Raised in Sandy, Utah, Emily nurtured a love for learning early on. After graduating from Jordan High School, she earned a biochemistry degree from Utah State University. Her passion for medicine led her to work as a research study coordinator at Huntsman Cancer Institute in Murray for two years.
