MONROE COUNTY, Ga. — Behind a chain-link fence off Rumble Road in Forsyth , heavy machinery signals the beginning of what local officials hope will be a significant economic boost for Monroe County.

Stellantis, the automotive giant behind Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep, is building a $41 million distribution center next to the Five Below Warehouse and Distribution Center.

Commissioner Eddie Rowland oversees the district where Stellantis' new distribution center will go. He says the community will undoubtably feel their impact.

"They're gonna invest $41 million, gonna have 90 employees, mostly working with robotics," Rowland said. "They're gonna have 66 robots taking parts on and off the shelf. It's a great company."
