Six Gun

S outhern rock lives. Heir apparent Appalachian-based band Six Gun sound like the musical progeny of Ronnie Van Zant and Toy Caldwell.

Tall order, indeed. Yet Six gun, whose gifts for Southern culture-driven rock will be on display at Bristol’s Hard Rock Café on Saturday, Aug. 30, maintain impressively diligent attention to detail. Their music breathes between notes that slide into the ears of acolytes like apple butter in a winter’s warm biscuit.
