MONTCALM, WV (WVNS) - One Mercer County team is looking to get back into the swing of things this season - the Montcalm Generals.

Last year, the generals barely squeaked by with a winning season at a 5-4 record.

This was followed by two previous seasons where the team finished 8-2 in both.

This year, they are out to prove a point - competing in every single game while also growing as a team.

They return some key pieces on offense - senior Landin Clower goes from being the backup QB last year to now the full-time starter.

Senior Tyler Stevenson also returns, holding down the fort as the starting running back.
