The Waverly Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors recently held one ribbon cutting in Waverly, presenting one new business with a First Dollar Award and three existing businesses with Progress Awards.

The Ambassadors met with Bremer County Fair Association board president Josh Petersen to present a Progress Award to the Bremer County Fair, celebrating their 150th anniversary as well as the newly completed fairgrounds located at 300 39th St. NE.

This milestone year marks a significant moment in the history of the Bremer County Fair, as they celebrate 150 years of tradition, community and agriculture.
