The moment an East Lothian motorist exited his vehicle and 'waved his fist' at another driver in a tense stand off was captured on film.

The incident allegedly took place on Harbour Road in Musselburgh and quickly went viral on social media.

Footage seems to show a driver and passenger exiting a Ford van having turned onto the one-way road from the wrong direction. White lines reading 'no entry' can be seen at the junction.

The video - posted to Bad Drivers UK on Facebook - was filmed by a male driver's dash camera while he was driving up Harbour Road in the correct direction.

The two cars meet at the top of the road, with the motorist blocking the Ford's progress.
