This weekend in Pittsburgh, the smell of barbecue will hover over the city with two festivals.

Kickoff and Rib Festival (Thursday-Sunday)

It’s grilling time on the North Shore as some of the best rib vendors from across the country descend on Acrisure Stadium. Among those smoking there will be Bad Azz BBQ, Carolina Rib King, Cowboy's BBQ & Rib Co., Crews BBQ & Catering, Jim’s Smokin’ Que, Pigfoot BBQ and Ribbins BBQ.

There will also be festival food like funnel cakes, lemonade and ice cream. Additionally it will feature a Jim Beam Carnival and games as well as access to the FedEx Great Hall, and both the Steelers’ Pro Shop and Hall of Honor Museum (ticket required).

The music lineup includes The Clarks on Friday and a bluesy Monday headlined by Billy Price.
