August is falling away and September will be soon upon us, but we've got this one last holiday weekend for some summer fun in North Jersey before the kids go back to school and the temperatures take an autumnal turn.

In addition to the concerts and movies in the parks, you can try outdoor Tai Chi in Short Hills, view an art exhibit in Clifton and participate in Bingo Loco in Rutherford. The concerts include blues/roots rock by Duane Betts at the Newton Theatre; plus classic and party rock, original singer/songwriter fare, salsa/merengue and more in our North Jersey parks.
