SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – Spokane Valley Fire Engine 1 and the department’s on-duty battalion chief recently teamed up for a rescue that showcased their community spirit.
They successfully rescued a baby quail that had fallen into a storm drain. Firefighters explained that the quail fell after being separated from its “covey.”
Spokane Valley Fire expressed gratitude to the TDS Fiber crew members working nearby for their assistance. They ended their message with a heartfelt sentiment, “Sometimes, it’s the little things that mean the most.”
