Council meeting better than expected

Today’s Council meeting went surprisingly better than expected and the Home Trust agreement draft is ready for a public hearing, yay!

But I wonder why the Town Administrator was allowed to interject so much and the Home Trust was not. The Planner wasn’t present so the Council should have stuck with the explanations provided in writing vs allowing the Administrator ‘s interjections. The Administrator is only supposed to be present to answer questions from Council, not guide the discussions and interject personal feelings. The Administrator had more time to speak than any member of the Home Trust, or of the community, and only spoke about her personal experiences not her professional duties. I find this quite telling.
