AHSAA high school football's Week 1 in the Montgomery-area will feature some marquee matchups with most teams having one game under their belt.

For Montgomery area teams, Pike Road and Enterprise will headline the week with the Patriots receiving another opportunity to prove themselves over one of 7A's best. Carver gets an opportunity to showcase what it learned from its loss against Thompson, while Prattville is looking to rebound after the season-opening loss against the stout running game of Stanhope Elmore.
