Stephen King paused his recent run of horror movie reviews on Wednesday to give a damning assessment of what Trump is doing to America.

The legendary author, who has attacked Trump on social media many times in the past, accused the president of turning the country into a fascist state.

"We can kid about Trump, but it’s no joking matter," he wrote on X (formerly Twitter) . "He and his cronies, aided and abetted by the Supreme Court, are turning America into a fascist, authoritarian state. The Republicans need to stop putting party over country and recognize the danger."
