Iwas honored to serve as the queen in the red convertible in the Anton 100 year parade celebration. I would like to express my thanks to all who made this celebration one to remember for years to come. I would like to publicly thank my sister, PJ Sullivan, for the work and persistence in making this day possible.
I have two brothers who served in the Vietnam war. Because they were drafted before graduating, they were unable to get their high school diploma. My sister worked tirelessly for years to make it possible to surprise them with their diplomas during this celebration. While I am honored, it goes without saying the highlight of this celebration was seeing the joy of my two brothers as they received their diplomas in the same gymnasium in graduation robes.
