Bristol City issue statement as Reds handed four-figure FA fine after 2024 Cardiff City draw
Bristol City have issued a statement after it was confirmed the Robins had been handed a £7,500 fine by The FA, with it was alleged the Reds had ‘failed to ensure its spectators and/or supporters conduct themselves in an orderly fashion’ during their Severnside Derby draw with Cardiff City last season.
In October of 2024, City played out a 1-1 draw with the Bluebirds at Ashton Gate. The South Wales side took the lead through Ollie Tanner early in the second half, but Luke McNally’s first goal in red and white ensured the points would be shared in south Bristol.
