QUINCY (WGEM) - It’s always perfect weather for a glass of lemonade and this weekend will be no different.
The sixth annual Grace and June’s Lemon Aid Stand for Good is Saturday, Aug. 30.
This year, there will be more than 15 lemonade stands.
Last year, more than $12,000 was raised and more than $33,000 has been raised since its inception.
All the money raised stays local and benefits the Salvation Army.
“You can put anything on your stand,” said June Hendrian.
Grace Hendrian said, “Everybody gets like a box with, like, the kettle and it comes with lemonade and stuff, like the necessities, but you can customize it to your own, so you can add...”
“Chips...,” June said.
“Ice cream, any of that kind of stuff,” said Grace.
This is also the third year for the Adult Lemon-Aid Stand and
