University President Mun Choi and Athletic Director Laird Veatch say rushing the field after games is no longer an option, warning that it puts players, coaches, and fans at risk, and it carries a hefty price tag. Under SEC rules, Missouri would be fined $500,000 for a field rush, and that money would go straight into the pockets of the opponent.

Choi and Veatch say the school will use cameras to track down anyone who storms the field, and violators could face fines, suspension, expulsion, or even be banned from campus events. Their message is simple: celebrate the wins, but do it from the stands.
