THE Kansas City Chiefs have re-signed a two-time Super Bowl champion who left the team last year.
The 26-year-old was a member of the Chiefs' championship teams in 2022 and 2023.
Running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire has returned to Kansas City after being waived in December.
He will join the team's practice squad for the 2025 season.
Edwards-Helaire, 26, was previously with the New Orleans Saints.
But the LSU graduate played two just matches for New Orleans, contributing with 13 carries for 46 yards and three receptions for 24 years.
In September 2024, Edwards-Helaire opened up about his battle with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
The condition forced him to miss time during training camp last summer.
