A series of modifications to vehicle registration rules is poised to simplify matters for motorists seeking to fix and refurbish their motors. ‌

The alterations, which took effect this week, have been rolled out by the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) with the goal of assisting vintage car enthusiasts in maintaining their vehicles roadworthy whilst ensuring safety and precise documentation. ‌

In the past, car owners would have been required to alert the DVLA regarding any major modifications or fixes to their motor, including those affecting the car's structure or bodywork. ‌

But these revisions are designed to cut down on the necessity for drivers to report many such alterations to the DVLA.
