(KIMT) -- Patchy dense fog will be your nemesis for the Thursday morning commute with visibilities around 1/2 mile or less. A Dense Fog Advisory is in place for Goodhue and Steele counties until 9 AM Thursday. Make sure you are reducing your speed and using those low beams!

Once the fog burns off by the early afternoon, widespread sunshine will help increase instability throughout SE Minnesota and North Iowa. Temperatures will climb to the mid to upper 70s with dew points rising back to the low to mid 60s.
