UK filmmaker Julia Jackman’s 100 Nights Of Hero will close the 69th BFI London Film Festival (LFF, October 8-19).
Emma Corrin, Charli XCX, Nicholas Galitzine, Maika Monroe, Amir El Masry, Richard E Grant and Felicity Jones star in the adaptation of Isabel Greenberg’s graphic novel of the same name, with all expected to attend.
100 Nights Of Hero, which is making its world premiere closing Venice Critics’ Week out of competition, is the second film by Jackman following Bonus Track in 2023.
The new film is described as a feminist fairy tale that centres on a bet between two friends in an alternative world as a neglectful husband places a secret wager to test his wife’s fidelity, while her maid helps her fend off a seductive visitor.
