Whether due to injuries, poor performance or bad situations to begin their careers, some players simply haven't been factors in fantasy football. At least not enough to warrant early-round draft chatter with other more popular players typically outperforming them year-to-year.

However, all it takes is one thing to change all that, to bring someone into relevance, or revive a once-relevant fantasy career yet again, even if that change is simply continuity and comfortability in a single situation (as is the case for the first name on this list).

Here's a look at five veteran players who have breakout potential in 2025.

Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo Bills

The thought of Kincaid has been more exciting than the reality, which hasn't been worth a starting fantasy spot over his first two years. But the former first-rounder is in a good spot to have a real impact for Buffalo in 2025 with the Bills digging in their heels in on the playmakers they have in-house rather than bringing in new talent over the offseason.

Jakobi Meyers, Las Vegas Raiders

Meyers had a career year in 2024, catching for over 1,000 yards for the first time in his career with a combination of Gardner Minshew, Aidan O'Connell and Desmond Ridder throwing him the ball and no run game to speak of. He's in a much better situation this year.

Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys

It wouldn't be Prescott's first fantasy breakout, but it'd be a breakout nonetheless for someone who missed half of last season and currently holds a QB12 ADP. Let's not forget, Prescott scored the third-most fantasy points two years ago. Now, he has George Pickens playing opposite CeeDee Lamb, which might be the best WR duo he's thrown to.

Courtland Sutton, Denver Broncos

Sutton has had good -- not great -- years in the past, but a second year with Bo Nix in Sean Payton's offense, and with better weaponry around them, could really open the door for a big season for the big 29-year-old.

Kenneth Walker III, Seattle Seahawks

If Walker can ever stay healthy long enough to stop Zach Charbonnet from eating into his workload, he can be a special player. We know this because we've seen the flashes. He just needs to stay on the field.
