They have spent the summer in relative seclusion with their family and now, King Frederik and Queen Mary of Denmark can enjoy a little alone time as a couple, as they have set sail for a four-day cruise aboard the Royal Ship Dannebrog. The King and Queen announced via their official Instagram account that they would be touring various locations by boat, leaving their four children behind – and so far, it seems as if the trip has been a resounding success.

The royal couple's summer jaunt kicked off in in the municipality of Frederikshavn before heading to Thisted; Læsø and Samsø are also listed on the itinerary.
