Doggy Dip will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30 at Diamond Lake Beach, 1016 N. Diamond Lake Road, Mundelein.

The free annual event features pups splashing in the water and navigating an agility course.

On the grassy side, leashed dogs can have a treat-filled adventure including games and crafts.

Doggy dress-up and best trick contests will be held with registration on site.

Adoptable dogs also will be available. All dogs must be friendly with people and other dogs. Waivers are required for entry. Human swimming not allowed. Visit events at mundeleinparks.org .
