Leaders from different faiths stood in solidarity with the seven people detained by ICE in Newington over the weekend.

The Center for Leadership and Justice, the Greater Hartford Interfaith Action Alliance and Hartford Deportation Defense hosted the vigil at the Church of Christ, Congregational on Main Street Wednesday evening.

“We pray for all those who have been unjustly taken and for those who have been impacted, their families and loved ones," said Chaplain Aida Mansoor with Muslim Coalition of CT and Islamic Association of Greater Hartford.
