CHICAGO — Emergency crews are on the scene of a fire that erupted at a home on the city's Far South Side early Thursday morning.
The blaze broke out at a home near the intersection of West 105th Street and LaSalle Street in Roseland.
SkyCam 9 was over the scene around 6:50 a.m. when smoke could be seen pouring through a hole in the roof as crews worked to control the blaze from a nearby ladder truck.
Authorities have not yet provided updates on the cause of the fire or whether anyone was injured.
The blaze has caused some road closures in the area as crews work to stamp out the flames.
Currently, Lasalle Street is closed from 106th to 105th. It is unclear how long the enclosures will last.
